STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Whereas we realize the necessity of God's people being joined together for the purpose of carrying out THE GREAT COMMISSION throughout the world, and whereas 70% of the people of Ghana live in rural, socially and economically deprived areas, Rural Gospel Thrust is committed to preaching and teaching the FULL GOSPEL in the most unreached towns and villages of Ghana.

That ministry that God has called is Rural Gospel Thrust www.ruralgospelthrust.com

Our goals are to accomplish the following:

1. To encourage and promote evangelism
2. To engage in active church planting wherever the Lord may lead
3. To work with men & women with conviction everywhere
4. To train and equip church workers and leaders for the task
5. To encourage and promote the edification and well being of believers everywhere.

We do not discriminate among believers. RGT will actively work with believers of all denominations who seek the salvation of the lost through the work of Christ Jesus crucified. The fundamental biblical truths that we believe and teach are as follows:

1. The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God through which He has revealed Himself to Man through Jesus Christ. ( 2 Pet:1: 20-21,  2 Tim 3:16, PS 119:11, 105, John 20:31)
2. SALVATION OF MAN:  A man was created good but by willful transgression was separated from God. (Rom 5:12, )
3. Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Rom 3:23-25, )
4. The individual is redeemed by the blood of Christ (1 Pete 1: 18-19) who is the only Savior (Acts 4:10-12). Jesus is the only way and mediator between God and man( John 14:6, 1 Tim 2:5).
